Are you sitting at home frustrated that you have nothing to do? Have you already scrolled through tons of websites searching for something to obliterate your boredom? Then you’ve come to the right place!
According to Oxford, “Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power”. But the point is, art can never be defined. You can create whatever you want, however, you want to. There are no rules. So when you’re bored and your concentration level is low, let your mind wander and create some art<3
PAPER MARBLING
This technique requires a vessel of considerable surface area. You fill the vessel with water and let a few drops of paint fall on the water. The paint spreads, and then you take a piece of paper and place it on the water's surface. This creates a marble-like effect on the paper.

TOOTHPICK SCULPTURES
This one is pretty self-explanatory and just requires toothpicks and some glue!

LATTE ART
Caffeine addicted? Turn that coffee in your hand into a piece of art! Latte art is basically pouring foam onto coffee, and then using tools to give the foam a shape.

ORIGAMI
According to Oxford, origami is “The Japanese art of folding paper into decorative shapes and figures”.
If you are a beginner, you could start by making an origami crane. If you’re more experienced you could go for the origami turtle.

EGG ART
You’ve probably heard of rock art, but have you heard of art done on eggshells?
Many artists paint beautiful, intricate designs on eggshells. You could be as creative as you want to, just make sure the egg doesn’t crack!

These ideas should keep you going for a while! Let us know if this blog inspired you and if you’d like to see more like this down below!
